The Millennium Series™ van wheelchair lift is the most popular lift in the BraunAbility line, with a strong, stable lifting platform and time-tested durability. The lift is fully hydraulic in operation for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles, and you regulate it with the standard handheld control, the on-lift controls or the optional remote control.

An optional side-entry platform solves tight parking problems: roll onto the platform from the side when there is no room to approach from the end. Each lift features BraunAbility’s Quiet-Ride™ system to ensure the quietest possible riding environment.

Three Size Variations Accommodate Most Wheelchairs

43″, 47″ and 51″ Platforms

The Millennium Series comes in three platform lengths, 43″, 47″ and 51″, to accommodate a range of chair sizes. This versatile lift was designed to fit a variety of personal-use applications in the side or rear door of a full-size van. Longer platforms require raised vehicle doors.

Key Features of the Millennium Series Lift

Safety Built Into Every Cycle

Safety Roll Stop. A hydraulic-powered roll stop raises to the vertical position before the platform leaves the ground to eliminate rolling fall risks. Sensors prevent the platform from raising if the roll stop is not fully engaged.

Independent Operation. One of the lift’s parallel arms features an up/down control button so the lift user can control the product while on the platform.

Threshold Warning Plate. A pressure plate at the entrance to the lift. If it is occupied while the platform is below floor level, lift operation is prevented and visual and audible warnings alert passengers and attendants.

Hydraulic Power. A compact electric motor powers hydraulic valves to operate the lift. A manual backup lets you control the lift easily, even in the event of vehicle electrical failure.
