BraunAbility® Entervan—Leading The Way

Since BraunAbility® opened its doors over 40 years ago, no other van conversion entering the market has been able to match the BraunAbility® Entervan in reliability. At BraunAbility®, we are proud to say that Entervan wears the badge of being the first minivan conversion ever engineered. Even though it has been the flagship for many years at BraunAbility®, we are still re-engineering the Entervan and making it better with each new model year. At the simple push of the Chrysler OEM key fob, you will activate the power door, power folding ramp, and power auto kneeling system with one touch. Once inside, you have the ability to remove the front driver and passenger seats, if you choose to sit up front in your wheelchair, or, when the van is properly equipped, you can even drive the BraunAbility® Entervan from your wheelchair. The Entervan offers spacious interiors for easy maneuverability and the capability to transport more than just one wheelchair at a time.

Quiet Drive® in the BraunAbility® Entervan

BraunAbility® has revolutionized the Entervan with our Quiet Drive® technology. This virtually eliminates prone areas in other competing lowered floor conversions that are known for creating excessive road noise. BraunAbility® uses advanced acoustic techniques to focus on and isolate these areas, keeping the noise out. Starting from the front firewall back to the rear axle, the Quiet Drive® will make the BraunAbility® Entervan even more enjoyable.

One Touch Power Door and Ramp On the BraunAbility® Entervan

Gone are the days of having multiple key fobs and remotes to keep track of. Without having to re-program your original remote, you can activate the fully automatic door and ramp by pushing the power door button on the Chrysler fob or any of four interior switches. The BraunAbility® Entervan ramp is durable and finished with a non-slip powder coating; it also has an 800 pound capacity and will bi-fold when stored vertically in the doorway. This one touch system is possible through a sophisticated software called the Gateway Module, technology that can now be found in every BraunAbility® Entervan. The Gateway Module is so sophisticated that you will not find a cut or spliced wire in any wiring inside the vehicle; it simply plugs directly into the Chrysler wiring system.

BraunAbility® Entervan Auto Kneel

To ensure the easiest access, BraunAbility® has integrated a kneeling system into the Entervan. Controlled by an actuator, it will temporarily lower the rear suspension to reduce the ramp slope, making boarding even easier. To prolong the life of the actuator, it has been designed and built into the body of the Entervan, protecting it from extremes of climate. In the event of a power failure, the BraunAbility® Entervan has full push button overrides that can bypass 99 percent of electronics. 

BraunAbility® Entervan Lowered Floor

The BraunAbility® Entervan has a floor that is lowered 10” from the level of the conventional minivan floor, starting just forward of the rear axle and traveling all the way to the front firewall. When completed, it will provide a 52.5” door opening at the side door and 56.5” in the driver’s and passengers’ area.

BraunAbility® Entervan Removable Seating

The removable seating in the BraunAbility® Entervan gives those who would like to ride up front that option. BraunAbility® makes it easy with a step and roll system: simply unlock the seat base and roll it out of the van. This makes it possible for passengers who would like to sit up front to make that choice very quickly and easy. This can also allow a driver in a wheelchair to lock down behind the steering wheel when it is equipped properly with accessories.
